La Band

I Tarot nascono nei primi anni 80, fondati dai fratelli Hietala, Marco e Zachary.
Inizialmente il gruppo si chiamava Purgatory, ma il nome è stato cambiato in Tarot in coincidenza della firma del contratto con la loro casa discografica.

A partire dal 1986, con il primo album "Spell of Iron", la storia dei Tarot si alterna tra nuove uscite discografiche, cambi di line up e pause più o meno lunghe.

Il genere proposto è un Heavy Metal di stampo classico.
